Waldorf never offered an upgrade kit or a trade in option. But they were never over priced as the MiniMug by Moog Music. All version share the following specs: 1 serial I/O port on the top side I/O port sometimes get a buffer overflow if to much data is send into the I/O port. I/O port is able to switch from serial to paralell mode if needed.
